An in-home newborn session is my absolute favorite. The session is laid back and casual. I really get to know my clients, we chat over a cup of coffee. And I get to capture real life images. No posing - no props - just pure, natural images, filled with love and laughter!
I was welcomed into this beautiful home with large windows, a great patio that had a view of the George Washington Bridge and a wall full of framed images! Ummm...a photographers dream if you ask me! I LOVE when clients print images! I can't wait to see which images they choose to add to their colorful wall of memories.
Evelyn Poppy was just 8 days new on the day of our session, and she was wide-eyed the whole time. Even after mom fed her, she was did not stay asleep too long. But you know what, that's ok. I loved capturing her big blue eyes. She was so observant and was just curious to see what all the fuss was about. Clearly, we were swooning over her! She was such a little doll. She loved snuggling with both mom and dad and was perfectly ok hanging out by herself. I'd say she was a pretty content 8 day old.
I loved spending the morning with this family and I am so glad they are now part of the SMP Family.
And now, let me introduce to you, Miss Evelyn Poppy.
