Jackson was awesome! Plain and Simple....AWESOME! He loved to sit and pose, very serious at first but once we put the giant cupcake in front of him...all seriousness was out the window.
Jackson's mom, dad, and grandma traveled from Pennsylvania for this cake smash...70 miles each way. It is such a wonderful feeling knowing someone admires your work that much to travel that far for an hour session. I am beyond grateful for these opportunities to meet such amazing families, near and far. Ok, enough about me...let's get back to the cutie who smashed his cake!
Jackson had no trouble digging right into his homemade giant cupcake, made by Sassy Cakes. At first he loved picking off all the dots, but then when he got a taste of the icing it was all over. He had icing and cake EVERYWHERE, which is exactly what is suppose to happen at a cake smash. You only get to dive head first into a giant cupcake when you're this little, so it better be good!
I loved the grey and yellow theme mom asked me to go with. I want to give my husband a little shout out for thinking of the ball pit balls I ended up picking up...Jackson LOVED them....and let me tell you he's got quite an arm on him.
I can't wait to see this family again in the future...they were so kind and warm; I felt like I had known them for years.
Jackson turned ONE on August 27 so let's all wish this little cutie a Happy Birthday!
