All I have been thinking about making for the past several weeks were French Macarons. I thought I’d make them to share with some of my co-workers the week of Valentine’s Day! Well let’s just say; they did not come out as planned.
Round One: complete fail. The meringue went completely flat so I tossed that and started again.
Round Two: the meringue came out good but I put a little too much food coloring. OH WELL…I had to continue on. Making the perfect round disk like Macaron was very difficult. Once they cooled; I stuffed them with Raspberry Preserves and Nutella. They taste delicious, the appearance could be worked on though! Practice makes perfect!!!
